Hey everybody! The Rams currently stand in last place in the NFC West, but they can change that this week. They have a very winnable game against the Browns on Sunday. They get to face off with Turf Show Times favorite conservative play caller Pat Shurmer! It should be a very competitive game between two of the worst teams in the league! Let's get to the links!
Jim Thomas is reporting that the Rams are looking to bring in another LB as Bryan Kehl and Josh Hull are both injured. They brought in David Nixon and Chase Blackburn in for tryouts yesterday. Expect one of the two to be signed to the roster.
Tomorrow is the deadline to activate players off the PUP list. Either they have to be moved to the active roster, placed on IR, or released. Mark Clayton recently had a setback in his recovery and is experiencing Achilles Tendinitis, which takes 2-3 months to heal from. There a bit of a debate on TST about whether or not he should be activated. If activated, he might not play until January and will just be wasting a roster spot until then. On the other hand, after Gregg Salas broke his leg, the Rams are in desperate need for a WR. We will find out soon what the Rams decide.
Peyton Hillis is out for Sundays game
This should help the Rams' defense. Hillis was the only huge threat the Browns had on offense. Now the Rams get to see their former 7th round draft pick, Chris Obonnaya, start for the Browns.
Who should be the Rams next HC?
Derek Pease from Ramsherd explored who should be the Rams next HC, if Spags does get fired. He doesn't provide a list but rather a want for a coach with head coaching experience.
That's all for today. Have a good one and GO RAMS!!
