The Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams need all the help they can get. Decimated by injuries, both teams have struggled offensively in a division showdown today. However, a sack-fumble combination from Seattle defensive end Chris Clemons may have been just what the doctor ordered for the Seahawks. Bradford was pulled down at his own 38-yard line by Clemons. Seattle got the ball back on the Rams' 25-yard line. Check out the video of Clemons' sack and the fumble return.
The Seahawks moved the ball to the Rams' three-yard line after four plays, including a key Marshawn Lynch first down to extend the drive. On third-and-one, Lynch punched the ball in for a touchdown, giving Seattle a 17-7 lead over the Rams. That was the eighth fumble this season for Bradford, and the fifth one he has lost. In the first quarter, Bradford threw his fifth touchdown pass of the season, another sign that the Rams quarterback is mired in a sophomore slump.
