St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford will not practice today. Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo told the Arizona media on a conference call this morning that his starting quarterback will not be on the practice field today as the Rams start preparing for their week 9 road game against the Arizona Cardinals. Spagnuolo did not rule out the possibility of Bradford practicing later this week or getting the start against Arizona.
Earlier the week, Spagnuolo was non-committal on Bradford's ability to practice today. The quarterback is still dealing with a high ankle sprain suffered in week 6 against Green Bay. Bradford was out of a walking boot on Monday and resumed strength work, but has yet to get back to specific football activities.
In two career games against the Cardials, Bradford is 50 for 84, a 59.5 completion percentage. He has one touchdown and four interceptions against the Cardinals, and a 1-1 record.
