Could Illinois RS sophomore DT Akeem Spence solve the Rams' woes on the interior defensive line?
Could Illinois RS sophomore DT Akeem Spence solve the Rams' woes on the interior defensive line?

  BIG TEN EVERYTHING.

It's that kind of morning here as Oklahoma St.'s ridiculously entertaining loss last night sets up a potential LSU-Bama rematch for the national championship should they both remain undefeated. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's check out what scouting can be had out of this early slate (and yes, I got a game into this week's watchlist with more to come).

No. 16 Nebraska at No. 18 Michigan, ESPN: Check out the line battles between the Wolverine's offensive line and Nebraska's big men up front on defense. Michigan C David Molk leads the unit that will have its hands full with DT Baker Steinkuhler and DE Cameron Meredith.

No. 17 Wisconsin at Illinois (watchlisted), ESPN2: Again, the line battle here merits attention. Wisconsin boasts an incredibly talented offensive line, though standout C Peter Konz is sidelined for a while with an ankle injury. See if they can hold up against the Illini's impressive pair of DE Whitney Mercilus and DT Akeem Spence.

I'll try to update this thread with the next round of games and what to watch for. Drop it here.
