Rams vs. Seahawks, Player to Watch: Marshawn Lynch

Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks will be looking for another 100-yard game this week.

With last weeks horrible/terrible/awful win behind us, let's look forward at a division rival - the Seattle Seahawks. This will be the battle to stay out of last place for the St. Louis Rams.

Lets get right into it:

Before the season started, few would have had running back Marshawn Lynch as a "player to watch." But just like our beloved Steven Jackson, Lynch has a consecutive 100-yard game streak going, 135 and 109 yards the last two games, respectively.

Lynch will be looking to make the upcoming Rams game his third 100-rushing-yard game. It is up to the Rams' defense - particularly the outside linebackers - to hold him under the century mark. They need to keep him from turning the corner and burning them with the long run.

While Lynch isn't a top-notch back, the Rams have made no-name backs look like Pro Bowlers (See the Washington Redskins game, for example).

To win this battle, the Rams run defense has to be on point, like how they played in the Arizona game when they kept Beanie Wells to 20 yards and 70 yards total as a team.
