Like I said in the previous post, the St. Louis Rams got some bad news on the injury front today to counter their good news. Danario Alexander, Justin King and Cadillac Williams are all dealing with injuries today. Just which ones will miss this week's game against Seattle?
First, from the you won't believe it files, another Rams cornerback was injured in practice today. Justin King, just cleared from a minor concussion, tweaked his ankle today. Officially, the Rams downplayed it, but Jim Thomas of the Post-Dispatch, called King's status for this week's game "murky." With nine corners having been sent to IR in one form or fashion (some were released with an injury settlement), experience is at a premium in the Rams' secondary.
Danario Alexander was again limited with a hamstring injury, and his status for this week's game is in doubt.
Cadillac Williams is out this week with a calf injury, the one he suffered running onto the field last week. Jerious Norwood is doing better, but is not up to full speed, surprise. He and Quinn Porter will back up Steven Jackson this week.
Injured cornerbacks, bad backups behind Steven Jackson, a 207 record...the more things change, huh?
