Mixed news for the St. Louis Rams on the injury front today. With Thursday's practice in the books, the Rams are likely to have some crucial players back on the field this week for a division game against the Seattle Seahawks. Starting with the good news.
Both Rodger Saffold and Justin King have been cleared for contact. Both players are expected to be ready to go against the Seahawks this week. The same goes for rookie tight end Lance Kendricks who missed last week's game with a foot injury. Wearing a more supportive shoe, Kendricks practiced today and should be ready for action this week.
As for quarterback Sam Bradford, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said the quarterback is reportedly feeling as good as he ever has. Bradford should benefit with Saffold and Kendricks back in the mix. Saffold was doing better in pass protection before his injury last week. Kendrick, ideally, would give Bradford one more option in the passing game, and he also has value as a run blocker.
