The Turf Show Times Weekly NFL Picks: Week #5

So it looks like being a professional gambler that makes a living off of picking winning games isn't in the cards for most of us? Mike D still holds the lead, but Ryan "the Terrible" is hot on his heals. Team TST is still in the hunt with a close third thanks to Rick Siegel.

This week, the good guys are joined by Doug Beers (a.k.a. - dbcouver). You've read a bit about him on his earlier profile page, but what you don't know is why he was chosen? OK, the "Doug" and "Beers" thing has a certain amount of serendipity too it for me, but that isn't it. Here, for the first time anywhere, is the news flash of flashes! Doug Beers is actually Albert Einstein's love child. Yup! When he told me his I.Q. was one number up from his shoe size, I knew he was the man for the job. My I.Q. matches my shoe size, and everyone knows how smart I am...er... uh? Anyway, the TST staff now has TWO Doug's to defeat, which as the world in general knows tickles the edge of impossibility!

On with the NFL picks for this, the 5th Week of the 2011 season:
