St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is still in a boot recovering from a high ankle sprain. His status for next week's game against the Saints is questionable. Head coach Steve Spagnuolo delivered the news in a very brief press conference today.
Bradford will not practice on Tuesday, and the Rams will see how he feels on Wednesday.
Bradford is dealing with a high ankle sprain, suffered when he was sacked by the Packers in week 6. There was some talk last week that he might be able to play against the Cowboys. He tested his leg on Friday, and the Rams ruled him out on Saturday, adding third QB Tom Brandstater from the practice squad.
It's Bradford's left leg ankle that has the injury. Because he uses his right leg to plant when throwing, it was a matter of pain tolerance and how well he could move when dropping back in the pocket.
