St. Louis Rams Sign Two Players To Replace Amendola & Fletcher

The St. Louis Rams made it official today, moving injured wide receiver Danny Amendola and cornerback Bradley Fletcher to the injured reserve list. That officially ends their season. To replace those two, the Rams signed DB Brian Jackson and WR Nick Miller

Jackson comes from the New York Giants. An undrafted rookie from Oklahoma, the Jets originally signed him, and he was featured as the subject of some rookie hazing on the show "Hard Knocks." The Giants plucked him off the practice squad, and he saw time mostly with their special teams unit last season.

Nick Miller was an undrafted rookie who made the Raiders' 53-man roster in 2009. He ended up on IR that year, and never played a snap. He has some experience returning kicks and punts, and would seem to be in line for some looks with the Rams since they're struggling in that department.

The Rams returned to practice today after their bye week. They travel to Green Bay this weekend to face the 5-0 Packers
