2011 Senior Bowl: Interior linemen to keep an eye on

Speaking of the St. Louis Rams interior offensive line, here are a few interior OL prospects to keep an eye on this week at the Senior Bowl.

OG John Moffitt, Wisconsin - How much of his draft stock heading into the Senior Bowl has to do with playing next to one of the top offensive tackles in the 2011 NFL Draft? He can settle that question this week. Right now, he could be a fourth round pick, and a good week could get up to the third round. He could definitely be the run blocker the Rams need on the inside.

OG Rodney Hudson, Florida State - Already thought to be the second best interior line prospect in the draft behind Mike Pouncey. He weighed in this morning at 291 lbs. The knock on him is whether or not his athletic approach to the position will translate to the NFL.

C Brandon Fusco, Slippery Rock - A center? Yes, the Rams have Jason Brown, but if the need for a center was keeping the better run blocking guard John Greco on the bench, then drafting a player who can snap the ball makes sense for the Rams...unless you like the idea of Hank Fraley coming into the game. Fusco is the small school lineman to watch, and already considered one of the top centers in the draft.
