Rams go to the Great White North to add a KR
The Rams have signed Montreal Alouettes WR/KR Andrew Hawkins. He's 5'8", 165-pounds and presumably will get a shot at returning kicks in spring practices this year. Hawkins is also a former reality TV star, having appeared on Michael Irvin's show "Fourth and Long."
Mark Clayton update
Mark Clayton's recovery is ahead of schedule. The free agent hopes to be back with the Rams next year, and it sounds as though GM Billy Devaney is open to that idea based on previous reports. Also interesting here is the role Clayton played as a mentor with some of the young receivers on the team.
2011 NFL Mock Draft has Blaine Gabbert as No. 1 pick
Andrew Perloff from SI has a mock draft out today, which is an interesting one because it has Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert as the first player selected. There's really no point in talking mock drafts until this Saturday's deadline for underclassmen to declare. However, I point this out because it's the first "expert" to have the post-Luck shakeup factored into it along with the recent glut of receivers returning to college. He has Julio Jones falling to the Rams here.
