Just two days until the St. Louis Rams kick off their 2010 season. Just how far beyond last year's 1-win season will they go? We'll know more on Sunday.
It's hard to imagine MLB James Laurinaitis getting any better, but he is. Spagnuolo was impressed with his grasp of the defense and the coaches feel 100 percent comfortable with him as the leader of that unit.
Take a moment to appreciate the Rams' injury report this week. Just one player, S James Butler, finds himself on that list. Coaches are hopeful that he can play this week, though Craig Dahl will be starting. Even backup QB A.J. Feeley is healthy.
Arizona will most likely be without RB Beanie Wells, but Larry Fitzgerald looks to be ready to go.
Computers predict bad things for the Rams in 2010. Computers, pffft, what do they know.
Rams Gab has a preview of the game. The Arizona defense presents the toughest matchup, since the offense is a bit of an unknown with Derrick Anderson at the helm. I like that C Jason Brown will be matched up most regularly against NT Darnell Dockett, likely with a guard pitching in on many of the snaps. Bradford's quick release will be an asset too.
The Cowboys gave WR Miles Austin a six-year, $54 million extension...wonder what Vincent Jackson thinks of the deal.
The Rams newest WR, Mark Clayton, seems to be easing into the offense much faster than expected. He could see plenty of action this week.
