Only in America: Don King visits Rams practice

No, you read that right. Legendary fight promoter and a man with his own lexicon Don King visited the St. Louis Rams training camp today along with a couple of fighters. 

Of course, the real fight was on the practice field as the Rams battled in full pads under the oppressive August heat. The heat could not stop receivers Danny Amendola and Laurent Robinson from making impressive leaping catches. That's good news for a team with a big question mark at that position.

Not to throw cold water on the situation, but a note of caution is due with reports like this. Making plays in practice versus a live game. The good news in reports like this is that players are up to snuff on the playbook and their roles on particular plays. That's where winning starts. 

Dehydration and tight hammys seem to be the biggest nuisances for the Rams at camp so far.
