We're only a few short days away from the NFC West championship game, and the Rams held their first practice of the week today, and it was somewhat note worthy.
Illinois Mike worked with trainers today and is expected to join the team in tomorrows practice. That is excellent news, as the Rams can use another receiving threat, particularly Uh Oh. Mike suffered What was called a high ankle sprain a few weeks ago, and has progressed quite nicely, which is music to all Rams fans' ears!
It's unclear as to whether he'll be officially back in action Sunday, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Jerome Murphy was limited in practice today nursing a broken pinky, but he's expected to play Sunday.
Sam Bradford spoke to the media after practice, and seemed pretty fired up.
When asked if this could be the biggest game of his career (why was he even asked that.. DUH.. of course it is!), he stated, "I imagine so, we're talking about the NFL now, with a chance to make the NFL playoffs..."
He also said, "Growing up, that's what you dream about--you dream about playing in the playoffs and making it to the Super Bowl. It's awesome".
In other related news, Donnie Jones was selected as an alternate punter for the pro bowl. Yea I know, he should be starting.
Go Rams!
