We're still waiting on the St. Louis Rams inactive list for today's game against the Falcons. For the first time in a long time, the inactive list will not be populated with players sitting out because of injuries.
Rodger Saffold made a speedy recovery from his ankle sprain suffered in last week's game.
DT Fred Robbins is listed as questionable, but Spagnuolo expects him to play today.
The injuries e everyone has their eye on today are Rams WR Danario Alexander and Falcons DE John Abraham.
Alexander practices this week, not far removed from a knee scope, and even got some time in with the first team. Will he play? He's listed as questionable. We have two different opinions on DX's status: one optimistic and one doubtful.
Abraham, Atlanta's sack leader, is listed as questionable too, having been limited at Friday's practice with a groin injury. It certainly would be a break for the Rams offense, who will need to score more than 20 points if they hope to fly with the Falcons, if Abraham is out today. I'd say, given his veteran status and limited role, that he'll play, but might not be as effective as usual. Either way, the Rams offensive line needs to be ready today.
