Rams a healthy family at Thursday practice

The entire St. Louis Rams roster was a full go at practice this week, save for DT Fred Robbins

Robbins was limited in practice with a sore upper back.

That's an improvement from yesterday when SS James Butler, WR Danario Alexander, P Donnie Jones and TE/FB Britt Miller practiced in a limited role.

Butler's return would benefit the Rams secondary, as he's their best coverage guy at SS, though not exactly a force to be reckoned with in that department. Weaknesses at OLB have allowed the Rams to be picked apart by tight ends, running backs and slot receivers this season. Butler, whose struggled to stay healthy this season, offers some support on those intermediate passes.

Only a few days ago it seemed unlikely that Danario Alexander would play this week. As of Monday he was running, but not quite ready for sharp turns and hitting his routes. Does this mean he's ready to play this week? Bradford could sure use the guy to do what he did against San Diego. Stay tuned.

For Atlanta, first round rookie OLB Sean Witherspoon, a Mizzou product, returns this week
