The St. Louis Rams played their worst football of the Steve Spagnuolo era in a 44-6 blowout loss against the Detroit Lions. This one hurt more than usual because the 2010 Rams have already established themselves as a more capable group than last year's bunch.
Adding a little salt to the wound is the loss of the team's best receiver, Mark Clayton, to a season-ending knee injury.
Now, they regroup and head into a tough matchup with the San Diego Chargers, who lost on the road against Oakland. Losing to Oakland or not, you can't take any game for granted when you lose 44-6.
