More contract news to pass along today, as Rams VP Kevin Demoff and GM Billy Devaney make moves to get players to camp, which starts next week.
This weekend they agreed to terms on a four-year deal with fifth round pick WR Brooks Foster. The third receiver in a talented North Carolina receiving corps, Foster has the tools to be a decent possession receiver, a quality emphasized in the new offensive system, but won't likely figure heavily into the rotation this season. I'm anxious to see if they'll try him out as a return man when camp starts.
The Rams now have agreed to terms with three picks, Foster, third round CB Bradley Fletcher and seventh round pick RB Chris Ogbonnaya. They expect to announce a deal with fourth rounder DT Darell Scott soon.
