The Rams are about half an hour away from starting the second practice of their first minicamp under head coach Steve Spagnuolo, and by all accouts, it was a good morning.
Though the press had very limited access to the team today, the PD did get a chance to talk to Spags, who had to pleased that everyone on the roster was in attendance. The coach summed up the morning thusly:
I thought they did a really good job of that [making practice "efficient, uptempo"] today for the first day, I really did.
That's good to hear. I'll be anxious to see how the new offense and defensive installation goes.
RB Steven Jackson said this about the practice on his Twitter feed:
1st practice is over and I would say it was successful. Of course we made mistake but the energy was great.
No stranger to minicamps through his career, DE Leonard Little quipped with coolness:
Just finished practice and still hanging
No word wether or not QB Gus Frerotte was in fact on the field as they thought he would be.
Speaking of QBs, Mike Sando notes that predicting the fortunes of the Rams - and the other NFC West teams - over the next few seasons is impossible because of the QB situations.
