The Detroit Lions cut CB Leigh Bodden today to clear cap space. Add his name to the list of free agents the Rams should pursue.
Bodden, just 27, was a great CB in his time with the Browns, nabbing 6 INTs in 2007, before signing with the Lions as a free agent. Chad Johnson once called him the best corner he ever faced. He's a coverage guy who was lost in the Lions cover-2 defense...and made his opinion on the matter known. Of course, being forced to be a backup to Travis Fisher - remember him? - will do that.
Bodden and Bartell as the Rams starting CBs...wouldn't be a bad thing at all.
