No more summer fun at Rams training camp

So the Rams regulars are finally going to play a little more in the preseason. Linehan had an awfully short hook with the de facto starters in his two preseason games with the Rams, and the rust showed. Add to that the training camp promises to be a little more rigorous than it has been with longer practices and denying players the comforts of home with a move North (or maybe East to Western Illinois U). Good. After last season's disaster, Linehan has to take these steps. The team, and Linehan's career, can't afford to cut any corners, and I'm relieved to hear that they don't intend to, as far as I know.

As for the increased risk of injury...well, less playing time and a more moderate camp pace didn't do much for players physical well-being last year now did it? I'm no doctor nor trainer, though I do sometimes pretend to know what I'm talking about, but I think working a little harder in camp and the preseason games could actually help players get their bodies adjusted to the rough and tumble pace of the NFL's regular season.

Travis Henry just can't stay on the right side of the law.
