Super Bowling

With years of advertising potential, hangovers, and eating greasy food, the Super Bowl became a de facto American holiday.

TST does not argue with holidays or the powers that anoint them as such. Therefore, barring any Rams news, I'm handing over the keys to thoughts of football's last weekend. A nacho-fueled cruise control.

Here's a game preview from Patriots blog, Pats Pulpit. It's a good overview of the game. The standard answer on the street when asked for a prediction seems to be, "I'd like to see the Giants win, but I'm predicting the Patriots win." The power of negative suggestion? or the wisdom of crowds? Probably the later.

Even at Big Blue View, SBN's Giants blog, that thought is echoed.

Back tomorrow with a prediction.
