Cowboys limping into St. Louis without Pacman

This just keeps getting better and better...for the Rams.

The Cowboys just lost cornerback and strip club/gun afficiando Adam Pacman Jones for at least four games after the league handed him an indefinite suspension for a drunken tussel with a bodyguard. The Cowboys are also without starting cornerback Terence Newman; lost for a month after undergoing surgery on his groin. Through week five, the Cowboys pass defense had a DVOA of 16.5%, 22nd in the league, according to Football Outsiders.

Unleash Donnie Avery! This gives the Rams passing game, looking to build some momentum with Bulger back at the helm, Avery starting in Bruce's old spot and Torry Holt looking to stockpile numbers more familiar to the seven-time Pro Bowler.

On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys will be without rookie sensation RB Felix Jones, a player they really needed on the field with Romo out of the lineup.

Lest we find too much joy in all this, I kinda feel their pain after what the Rams went through injury-wise last season. Sort of. In spite of all that, the Cowboys are still favored by a TD.
