Could the Rams be thinking about taking WR with their first round pick? The Rams are scheduled to meet with the Tennessee wide receiver on April 10. The Rams aren't the only team meeting with him though, as Meachem's got a busy week with meetings scheduled with the Vikings on April 11, the Chargers on the 12th and the Chiefs on the 17th.
What's it mean? probably nothing, other than the Rams are taking the opportunity to meet with the guy on his way through town. Might even be the feared smoke screen! Meachem is project by many to go around the 20th overall pick, making you question the Rams' interest.
He's definitely the #2 WR available in the draft at this point, but he's several steps below the talented Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech, who's widely seen as a top three or four pick.
