Rams vs. Arizona
Noon
Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis, MO
Just a few hours and we'll know if we're off to an 0-5 start or a 1-4 start. Can it really be called a start though after five games? Whatever it is, the Rams need to show some life today, even if they don't win, they have to make a game out of it.
Predictions are dire, especially since Arizona is coming off a win over the highly regarded Steelers. The PD's pundits, are not predicting a notch in the win column, except for Jeff Gordon and Kathleen Nelson.
Over at Yahoo!, only one predictor thinks the Frerotte-led Rams can get it done today.
If the defense can build on Brown's return and start forcing plays behind the line, then things could change on that side of the ball. The offense should be feeling all the pressure in the world, and I just can't imagine they won't be willing to take some chances today. What have they got to lose? Linehan's on the hot seat and another game with thousands of unsold tickets can't be a very pleasing site to the powers that be.
As crazy as it is, and as much as I hate going out on a limb, I'm making the prediction...
Rams win, 27-24.
