The Latest: No Resigning of Fakhir Brown
I, like VanRam, was hoping against hope that the Rams would re-sign Fakhir Brown but it doesn't look like it. I really thought Haslett liked Brown and would get him back.
This morning (Oct. 8) in Jim Thomas' column in the PD under "RAM-BLINGS", Mr. Thomas reports to us that the re-signing just isn't gong to happen, at least not this week.
...Team sources said also that cornerback Fakhir Brown will not be re-signed by the team this week.
In my humble opinion, that's really a mistake, since our defensive back situation is suspect to say the least.

Linehan is Out! Haslett is in! From the pan to the Fire?
Direct quote from the New York Times:
The winless St. Louis Rams fired coach Scott Linehan on Monday, the day after a fourth straight lopsided loss to start the season.Defensive coordinator Jim Haslett will replace Linehan on an interim basis, Rams spokesman Rick Smith said.
Here's the link:
http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/sports/AP-FBN-Rams-Linehan-Fired.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
Now the question might be...how long will Haslett last? One thing is for sure, he won't be muzzled anymore and will be able to talk to the press!

Rams Secondary was the worse in the NFC West
Mike Sando at ESPN provides a chart that shows the worse D-Backs in the NFC West during week one of the NFL games. Would you believe out of the top 5 worse defensive backs the Rams secondary was 3 out of those 5. And the very worse back was Tye Hill.
Here's the chart:
http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nfcwest/0-3-117/Target-practice-on-NFC-West-defenders.html
These guys have to get it together against the Giants with the likes of Plaxic Buress, Jeremy Shockey and Amani Toomer in their arsenal of receivers. One of the best ways might be for out front four to put the pressure on Eli and some blitzing and make Eli make some bad passing decisions.

Wikipedia = Ramsipedia
Everyone by now knows all about Wikipedia, right? Right! But do you know about Ramsipedia? Okay, so there is no Ramsipedia but this is just as good as having a Ramsepedia! I have this as one of my favorite links...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Louis_Rams
And if you just want to keep up with the Rams' current roster, and I mean CURRENT, then try this link...

No sooner do the Rams make a roster move and "BAM!" there it is on Ramsipedia.

Injured Reserve List
Every time I read or hear of one of our players, and by that I mean the Rams, has been placed on the IRL (Injured Reserve List) I cringe. And then I wonder, okay so what other teams have placing players on the IRL?
If any of you out there are like me and want to keep track of all the NFL team's players that have been placed on IRL during Training Camp or Pre-Season but are tired of jumping around from website to website trying to find out then look no further.
This site is for you and they are pretty good at keeping it up to date. It's called "WalterFootball.com".
http://www.walterfootball.com/injuryreportnfl.php
Not only is it kept up to date but now you no longer need to look for that scratch pad you've been using to keep track of the IRLs on your own. The list is only a website away.
I hope you will enjoy using this website as much as I do.

Rams eyeing return to L.A. ?
This is a quote from fannation.com of an article in the New York Sun which you can find here: http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/55459
And I quote:
Rams eyeing return to L.A. ?
Posted: Friday June 27, 2008 07:53AM ET
There are rumors that the owners of the Rams are looking at Los Angeles as a destination in about seven years, when an escape clause in the Rams' current 30-year deal kicks in: The Rams have to be in the upper 25% of stadium revenues; otherwise ownership is free to move, despite having 10 years left on the lease. Rams owner Georgia Frontiere moved her team from Anaheim to St. Louis after the 1994 season, because the city offered her the keys to the city's new domed stadium, which was built as part of a convention center. The stadium is just 13 years old, but with new stadiums coming on board in East Rutherford, Indianapolis, and Texas and the opening of big revenue-producing facilities in Houston, Massachusetts, Detroit, and Arizona, the Rams' ownership will surely no longer be in the top eight by 2015.
New York Sun"
Where did they ever hear this crazy rumor or are the just making up their own rumor. I live in St. Louis and everything I read in the newspaper here is that the owners Chip Rosenbloom and his sister have no intention of returning to LA.
