There were also indications that the Rams might be making additional "cuts" in their coaching field as they zero in on their next head coach.

I don't see how the Rams as an organization can claim to be "moving ahead" by selecting their defensive coordinator from the past 3 seasons. I thought the "Martz as OC" story effectively ended Haslett's tenure in St. Louis.
