Ohio State WR Ginn Out of Combine
Ohio State WR and potential Rams draft target (for those in the draft a WR camp) Ted Ginn Jr. will forego workouts at the scouting combine this week because of a sprained left foot that is reportedly still healing.
The next chance for Ginn to showcase his skills will come at Ohio State's "Pro Day" on March 10.
Ginn is thought to be the third best WR in the draft, behind Georgia Tech's Calvin Johnson and USC's Dwayne Jarrett.
Any Rams interest in Ginn comes in part for his explosiveness on returns. Reports are that his hands and route running ability need work, which would limit his effectiveness as a starting WR right away.

This ploy happens every year, the top players opt out of the combine to workout in the friendly confines.
Also, please don't draft Ginn, we don't need to spen our first rounder on a speedster returnman because if we concentrated we could take one in the later rounds. As for names of some, I have no idea.

you are right.
cnnsi.com has a good alternative:
Yamon Figurs/WR-RS/Kansas State: Figurs will be one of the fastest players at the combine. The sleek pass-catcher could be one of the few athletes who runs faster than 4.3 in the 40.
and what a name.
Figurs eh?
