Just a follow up to the "James Laurinaitis not being mentioned for Defensive Rookie of the Year" conversation that was going on a few days ago. Peter King gave Laurinaitis props today for what he has done so far in the league. He picks him (through 4 games) to be defensive rookie of the year, which is at least one small, tiny, insignificant, meaningless morsel of hope that us Rams fans can hang on to.

Espn ranks the rookies so far and it looks good so far for the Rams.

Worry not Rams fans! Little was back at practice tonight! They are calling it a minor sprain. Keep a watchful eye out for potential knee problems in the season. The last thing we need is more injured starters this season.

Marc Bulger, according to the Dispatch, is trying to contact Kurt Warner for advice on how to deal with his pinky injury. Warner suffered a similar injury during the 2000 season.

According to Jason La Confora of NFL.com, the Rams worked out veteran running back Ahman Green this week. Based on the performance of the RBs against the Jets, I'm not surprised. Green had two injury-plagued seasons with the Texans, but he could be a viable backup if healthy.
