Just minutes ago, the Los Angeles Rams announced they fired Head Coach Jeff Fisher. Per Rand Getlin, formerly of NFL Media, they’re set to announce their interim head coach: Rams Special Teams Coordinator John Fassel:
I'm told special teams coordinator John Fassel will be named interim head coach for the #Rams in the wake of Jeff Fisher's firing.

Fassel, the son of former New York Giants Head Coach Jim Fassel, joined the team as Special Teams Coordinator in 2012 to fill out Jeff Fisher’s initial coaching staff. His hiring followed a four-year stint with the Oakland Raiders in the same gig. Here’s his full CV:
It’s not the lengthiest resume for a head coach, but Jeff Fisher’s staff was largely deficient of as much aside from Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams (who I’m surprised wasn’t handed the reins himself).
In case you were hoping his Wikipedia page would offer more info, you can quell those hopes now:
The Rams don’t have a ton to play for in their final three games, so it’s not as if Fassel has a ton of pressure to achieve anything.
Bottom line is that freed from the yoke of Fisher, it’ll be Fassel guiding the team into the offseason with major, major decisions ahead.
