Todd Gurley is a beast. With Le'Veon Bell going down with what appears to be a serious knee injury, Gurley is arguably the best RB in the NFL right now. We could heap praise on the 21 year old RB all night, but that's not why I'm here. In his 4 starts, he is averaging 141.5 YPG rushing. Extrapolate that out for the rest of the season and that comes to..... a lot. Gurley reaching 1500 yards - in 13 starts - is not out of the realm of possibility.
While Nick Foles isn't exactly lighting defenses on fire, he's doing exactly what the Rams ask him to - not lose games. Save for a horrible game in Green Bay, he's been exemplary in protecting the football. On the other hand, yardage has been hard to come by for Foles.
He hasn't eclipsed 200 yards since Week 1 and only has 1,119 yards passing through 7 games. The scary part is that 26.5% of his yards came in that Week 1 matchup with the Seahawks. Could Foles reach 3,000 yards? Absolutely. But his receivers need some remedial training in catching the football for that to happen.
