Perhaps Fisher is on to something?

At what point is it appropriate to go away from putting the guy in who gives you the best chance to win? And if that's Shaun Hill do you forego winning now for the possible future?

The arguments for Austin Davis are valid but what IF...what IF Shaun Hill is a better QB right NOW and gives us the better chance to win more games THIS year?

The chances of the Rams gaining themselves a franchise QB in Austin Davis just aren't realistic in my opinion. They'll be drafting a QB and they'll be doing it very early next offseason.

So the argument that the Rams would be preparing for the future isn't valid in this situation.

People have completely written Shaun Hill off without giving him a chance this year. Maybe Shaun Hill doesn't throw a pick 6 in 2/3 games. Maybe he doesn't throw to a double covered Quick with the game on the line.

I'm not saying that Davis isn't the ultimate answer for this season because he could be.

I'm simply saying to give Shaun Hill a chance with this improved receiving corp to see if we can get better production out of the QB position. As much as ive been impressed with Davis, there have been critical mistakes in 2/3 games he's played in so far. And im not saying that Davis cost us the Dallas game because the Defense did that...but those interceptions buried us if we weren't already buried in that game.

It's a dilemma to many but fans are very, very, very short sighted and are quick to forget and write off players..(*cough* Quick *cough*)

Perhaps we should check under every stone this time!
