Dates and times are yet to come for the first three weeks except for the nationally televised games of which the Rams have none.
Two early home games should give local fans plenty of up close looks at the back end of the roster which, obviously, is largely unconstructed as yet. The draft and post-draft periods will bring in a couple dozen more guys to camp to then sift through as we approach the first game of the year on September 7.
And it's a good third contest against a Cleveland Browns team that's in some serious disarray. That's likely where we'll see the most playing time from the starting group. Having a weaker team may be a good thing to put some confidence in order if we get a good performance in Cleveland.
It's a second year without the Governor's Cup matchup against Kansas City in the preseason as we've got them in a regular season game. The Rams are 9-5 against KC in the preseason iterations of the cup, but 0-5 in regular season contests.
And bear in mind the 2014 regular season schedule will be out later this month, so we're yet to know who the Rams will face after MIami when the games count. Of course as it stands, here's the opponent list for 2014:
What do you think about the Rams preseason schedule?
