Is Chris Givens getting our hopes up again so he can dissapoint us once more?

I LOVE Chris Givens' attitude. I don't care if he comes across cocky, he seems to have a real passion for the game and wants to be the best player he can possibly be. I remember last season reports were coming in about how Givens had been working out hard and gaining muscle while still maintaining his elite speed. Then I saw a picture of Givens looking amazing in an offseason photo. I got excited.

And then the season came, and Chris Givens disappeared. I blame it on injuries early on and subpar QB play by Clemens.

Well this year, again, Chris Givens is giving us something to look forward to: http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/7654/givens-excited-for-fresh-start

When I read this article earlier today, my eyes started twinkling at the thoughts that came into imagination. I read about how this same trainer, Mack Newton, trained Aeneas Williams, Bo Jackson, Rickey Henderson, and even Charles Barkley. And now Givens has been going to this same guy that trained these exceptional one of a kind athletes. Givens. In addition to the training with Mack Newton, Givens also stayed in touch with Isaac Bruce to seek advice on how to better his game. Givens talk tells me how invested he is in becoming a great WR for STL.

Will his game back up his talk this season? He has really raised expectations after this. He BETTER not disappoint again!
