In today's passing league, a team can never have enough good CB's. Most teams consider their 3rd corners to be starters. Given the release of Cortland Finnegan, the Rams should be looking to add a quality corner early in the draft. Justin Gilbert or Darqueze Dennard would be fine selections.

Points Per Play Differential measures the margin between a team's points per play generated and the points per play against. It gives a measure of how a team's effectiveness at putting up points on a per play basis compares to how that team prevents points from being put up against them on a per play basis. Of the 13 teams who made the playoffs/won 10 games in 2013, 11 of them ranked in the top dozen in this statistical measure. The Rams ranked 16th for the 2013 season.
