Random Ramsdom: 4/14 Twenty-Four Days Until The Draft

Jeff Zelevansky

So much draft talk continues to pile on as we get closer to the 2014 NFL draft. It is almost unbearable at this point. The mind is used to next week being draft week. This extra 2 week deprivation should be illegal. Its like taking the water supply away for a year. Well maybe not that bad, but still....

First round lock down - NFL.com

Who will be a lock for the 1st round this year? In such a deep draft it is hard to say who will make the cut in an arms race.

Welcome to fantasy land - Ramblin' Fan

If you are into fantasy football nut, and your a big time homer, you may be interested in investing an early round pick into St. Louis' own Zac Stacy. Stacy has been projected as a top tier RB2/borderline RB1.

There has been an EightyFive sighting - NFL.com

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is not quite ready to hang up the cleats. And appearantly Canada is willing to give him a helping hand, sort of....? 85 has managed to get the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes to give him a workout. Maybe he can get his ace aka right hand man, Terrell Owens, some love as well.

Grading 2011 - ESPN.com

You might often hear someone say post draft that they want to wait a few years before grading a draft class. This is because after a few years, then you can give a fair and accurate grade based off of produciton. Well it has been a few years since the 2011 draft, three to be exact, and its grading time.

Let's go back to 2010, and do it again - NFL.com

Speaking of past drafts, hindsight always seems to be 20/20. Looking back on the 2010 draft knowing what we know now, would Sam Bradford still go number one if we could do it over? Would he go in the top 10? Who got it right? Who got it wrong? Who was just, meh? Quick someone pull the DeLorean around, we need answers...

What do the Rams have to do to compete in the NFC West? Forget winning the division, let's just compete to start off with. Then we can sit at the big people table and talk the big boy talk right?

San Fran, the new "Trouble Land"? - Bleacher Report

Just days after news broke of an alleged incident involving a young lady and 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick, OLB Aldon Smith has been arrested, charged, and released on bail for making a bomb threat in LAX. It is also believed that alcohol was involved but not yet confirmed.

Dennard a good fit??? - St. Louis Rams

Could Darqueze Dennard be a legitimate darkhorse candidate to be drafted by the Rams? He certainly fits the mold for a Gregg Williams defense. Even so, there has not been a lot of pre-draft talk connecting the two.

A report surfaced that Florida State WR Kelvin Benjamin blew off a private workout "because he was tired". There has yet to be anything from Benjamin or his agent confirming the reports. In the mean time, lets try to remember, this is lying season. Take everything with a grain of salt until official word comes out.

A story about receivers - Ramblin' Fan

Mediocrity is a word that has been tossed around a lot - since Tory Holt left - when discussing the Rams receiving core. Understandably so. But who on the roster will need to step up for the team to start hearing less mediocrity and more quality?

Has anyone stopped to check in on our buddy Chris Long? He somehow makes twitter worth it. Especially when he gives weather updates on Charlottesville, VA.

He was not done...

Now he is done!
