The St. Louis Rams signed former Florida State cornerback Greg Reid to a deal last week, giving the former FSU standout his shot at an NFL career. Reid was arrested in Georgia this week on a probation violation. Additional details on Reid's arrest are unknown at this time.

Reid is currently being held without bond in the Lowndes County jail, according to WALB.
A speedy corner with the Seminoles, he was kicked off the team for violating team rules. He was arrested in Georgia in July 2012 and charged with driving on a suspended license, a seatbelt violation and possession of marijuana. Reid was eligible for the 2013 NFL Draft, but a torn ACL and a second surgery to fix it kept him off NFL rosters last year.
He worked out for scouts at Florida State's pro day last month, turning heads with his workout. It was enough for the Rams to take a chance on the quick-turning corner with a knack for punt returns. His latest arrest could result in discipline from the NFL now that he's a pro.
