Rams GM Les Snead attends Johnny Manziel pro day

... but he seemed more interested in who the quarterback was throwing to.

St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead was in Texas on Thursday to attend the much ballyhooed pro day event for Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. But he might have been more interested in one of the guys Johnny Football was throwing to.

Our friend Tony caught a glimpse of Snead during the workout, in a very revealing part of the field.

Needless to say, Evans is a guy the Rams are likely to have on their draft board given their two first-round picks. Several mocks have even put Evans to the Rams with the 13th pick.

There's a debate to be had about whether Evans or Sammy Watkins would be a better pick for the Rams, who still lack a true No. 1 receiver, despite spending two picks in the top 33 over the last two years to find one. Evans looks like what the Rams hoped they were getting in Brian Quick, a big, physical, do-it-all receiver. And Evans' hands are especially impressive.

A couple GIFs of what Snead saw ...

And here's that 60-yard bomb Evans caught to finish off the throwing session ...
