Minnesota Vikings are on the Clock! You are the GM!
Minnesota's needs- QB, G, S
Quarterback- Minnesota may have the greatest running back on the planet, yet the NFL lives and dies by the pass. The Vikings need to retool the QB spot if they with to have a shot at winning the NFC North. The top three QB's are off the board. Let's move on
Guard- Think Rams guard situation before Rodger Saffold resigned. What a pity! Adrian Peterson could use some lanes to run through, and even crappy Quarterbacks like to step up into the pocket. Yet, drafting a guard at #8 doesn't make sense. OT Jake Mathews is still on the board. It's tempting to take Jake, and move one of your offensive tackles inside, still it's not the way you scripted it.
Safety- Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Calvin Pryor would be a bit of a reach at #8.
If you've been paying close attention, you've noticed a common thread linking Viking needs with their #8 pick. Me? I'd be thinking about trading back for an extra draft pick. We'll explore that option after we look at BPA's.
Best Player Available- OT Jake Mathews is still available. You could use WR Mike Evans. CB- Justin Gilbert, OLB- Anthony Barr, DT- Aaron Donald, LB CJ Mosely.
Rams offer 13th pick, third round pick (#77) for your 8th pick!
Lions offer 10th pick, 4th round (#109) and 6th round pick for your 8th pick!
Minnesota is on the Clock! You are the GM! Whom do you choose? Tick tock...
