Mid to late pick questions

Morning! We all are getting our thinking caps. So I would like some thoughts about our O-line. I have been and still believe that Mathews is the man that would anchor our young line moving forward. Yes I know more fans seem to prefer Robinson here. And none of us seem to be confident that Snead will opt for a lineman early enough to have either. We just don't know.

But my question is about how we stand now. Is Jones being groomed/and ready to take over at center? I look to next year seeing caps, expense and the lot. I think about the offensive line being the foundation for success. Yes injury occurs and ...stuff. So, I have looked at this as something we likely will address down the line in this draft. Ya know supposing that we will not grab Robinson or Mathews. We would have to fill with a little here and some there. But back to the input I would like. No matter how things go down. Do you think it is very strong that Jones will take over our center position? And Is it likely we choose another late in this draft? As back up? Rotation due to injury etc.. If so enlighten me!

I like Stork from Florida State. Smart and solid guy. Marcus Martin from USC is a big baddy. Played Left guard before some center. And I think that I saw Russell Bodine show up in someones list of 1 thru 7 on this board. When I saw it I thought, What? Didn't look him up. But this dude seems pretty good as a young coachem up sort of kid with lotta upside. Not sure how the coaches feel bout him but feel we tend to choose someone that is further along in the works. Someone like Tyler Larsen, Utah. Smart dude. Knows football. These sort of guys could be found maybe as late as 5th round. So help me out here. What do we KNOW about the center position? Barnes or Jones replacing Wells moving forward. Has anyone heard?
