Don't be Surprised if the Rams Sign DT Henry Melton.

In two previous articles I predicted the Rams would sign sign a free agent Guard, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, and a defensive tackle. Two out of three, of my predicted free agent signings have come to pass. Saffold and Dunbar. I also said there was a 25% chance of signing free agency Free Safety Chris Clemons.

There are many free agent DT's in free agency, and that coupled with a comparative dearth of defensive tackle talent in the Draft, combines to make DT a position Snead will target in free agency. Why not Henry Melton? If Melton has recovered from ACL surgery, it could be argued that Melton is Kendal Langford's equal. Melton could give the Rams the deepest and the best defensive line in the Entire NFL.

Imagine Langford, Brockers, and Melton rotating at DT. Imagine the Mighty Quinn, Chris Long, and William Hayes rotating at DE. I'm sure Gregg Williams is salivating at the thought, like a dog let loose in a meat market! I'm not saying Henry Melton will be the DT the Rams sign, yet he's the DT I want.

The 2014 draft is the deepest Wide Receiver draft in a decade, and that's why I wrote in the same article a week agao, that the Rams chances of signing a FA wide receiver is ZERO.

We will draft a WR, FS, and CB by the end of round 2! The free agent tea leaves say so. Mark it down!
