The skill set of the draft class of 2014 combined with its depth could prove to be extremely vital to the Rams. Trading around should definitely be on the list of things Snead is thinking about for May
In a modern game where the big ticket is finding that one elite or star player, I think the Rams best bet would be to trade at least the second pick to the highest bidder. This draft is extremely good and the more players from it we can add to our already young roster, the better of we'll be.
Say we get three 2nd round picks and three 3rd rounders. Potentially, our mock draft for those rounds could end up looking like this.
2nd:
Odell Beckham Jr/Allen Robinson
Terrence Brooks/Ed Reynolds
Ryan Shazier/Kyle Van Noy
RaShede Hageman/Dominique Easley
3rd:
Victor Hampton/ Louchiez Purifoy
Jeremy Hill/Devonta Freeman
JuWuan James/ Cyril Richardson
Pick one of the two names listed there and put them all together. That adds up to be one hell of a draft if you ask me. Not to mention that these only pertain to two rounds. If Les Snead and Jeff Fisher could pull something off like this, it could turn our entire organization around.
