Bear with me for a couple of minutes and let your mind wander. Please, reflect back to how things were from 2004 to 2011. Not so much the wins and losses but the team makeup, the players, the front office, the ownership and the coaching. We, as a fan base, KNEW we weren't going anywhere. Easy schedules came our way and we still couldn't win more than we lost. We were terrible and it was very frustrating.
Now let's move to 2012. The Rams have changed. A new owner, a new "Vision". Stan Kroenke brings in an established head coach and Jeff Fisher chooses us. Not for the money but for the feeling he got from Stan. Remember, Fisher was offered more money to go to Miami. Kroenke, Kevin Demoff and Fisher scoured the NFL and found a gem in Les Snead. As we found out, he's a wheeler-dealer. Not afraid of making a deal. Trying his best to improve our team. They've brought in players that they believe will achieve their goal. Some misses but mostly hits. Having new players means that others have to leave. The player turnover is about 85% to this point. The ones that left with the exception of a few are out of the league.
My fellow TSTer's, we are already being talked about in the league as a tough team and one to be reckoned with in the near future. From time to time, remind yourselves of where the Rams were and how you felt about it. Now look at where we are. Talented, tough, young and eager. Feel good in the fact that our new Rams team has a "Vision". That "Vision" is a Super Bowl. That Super Bowl "Vision" is closer than you think.
