Draft Watkins at 2 , get Clinton-dix with the 13th pick and with the 2nd rd pick go with kyle van noy
Here we take a WR, S, and OLB/DE
Get a S in FA such as Jairus Byrd which would be a tight but possible move with the cap room expected to inflate and expand with re-negotiation.
We trade #2 to the Browns whom I feel are sincere with their Johnny F'n Football crush and will be willing to trade up in fear of losing him to the Jags (Gus Bradley saw what the exciting and efficient Russell Wilson did in Seattle and is willing to gamble on Manziel) and decide to bite on STL's bait sending their 4 and 26th to the Rams.
Here theres two ways we can go:
1. Take Watkins with #4, snag Hageman at 13, then go for a tackle such as Lewan if he lasts til then or Antonio Richardson, 2nd rd pick would be van noy.
Making our 1st and 2nd rd picks WR, DT, OT, OLB/DE.
2. Skip on Watkins and surprise everyone by drafting Jadaveon Clowney #4 overall, with #13 pick up DT out of MN Hageman, then go for Jordan Matthews with the 26th pick (a player which the Rams have shown some interest in and is a proven go-to receiver) Then 2nd round still try to nab Van Noy and you've got yourself a flexible nasty D.
Taking DE, DT, WR, OLB
Point blank...I think the smart thing to do is attack the most vulnerable and glaring position that we need in FA with the Safety class that is available, especially at the rate the S position gets paid and continue to draft young coachable talent at the positions like WR, OL, DL and LB.
Note: I think Van Noy will be a player to be reckoned with. This kid can make plays...
