The Best TST Mock Draft Yet!

Going into this draft I have the Rams cutting Cortland Finnegan, Harvey Dahl, Scott Wells, and Kendall Langford, and then signing free agents Jarius Byrd, and Danario Alexander. Now let the mock begin!

With the second pick I have a trade with Cleavland for their second and 2015 first round picks. At the fourth spot we select Greg Robinson / OT Auburn. Robinson would be perfect for our offense with his ability to play guard or tackle, and this would allow us to let the often injured Saffold walk in free agency.

Other options: Jake Matthews / OT Texas A&M, Sammy Watkins / WR Clemson

My choice for our next is Rashede Hageman / DT Minnesota. Hageman would be a great upgrade over Langford, and would give the Rams the best front four in the NFL.

Other Options: Louis Nix / DT Notre Dame, Haha Clinton-Dix / FS Alabama.

Next up with Cleavland's second round pick is Cyril Richardson / OG Baylor. Another beast up front, and our once weak offensive line is suddenly becoming a strength.

Other Options: David Yankey / OG Stanford, Gabe Jackson / OG Mississippi.

With our next pick we draft Deone Bucannon / S Washington State. Buccannon is an imposing hitter at 215 pounds, but also has good coverage skills. Our coverage problems in the back end are now fixed.

Other Options: Calvin Pryor / FS Louisiville, Ed Reynolds / FS Stanford

In the third round Rams select E.J. Gaines / CB Missouri. Gaines does a nice job in coverage, and is physical versus the run.

Other Options: Pierre Desir / CB Lidenwood, Stanley Jean-Baptist / CB Nebraska.

At the fourth round the Rams select Tajh Boyd / QB Clemson. Boyd is inconsistent, but is great when at his best. At the very least he should be a quality backup, and could possibly challenge Bradford for the starting position.

Other Options: Brett Smith / QB Wyoming, A.J. Mccarron / QB Alabama

With our fifth rounder we select Isaiah Crowell / RB Alabama State. This kid could be a steal much like Zac Stacey was in the fifth. A former SEC freshman of the year Cromwell would be the perfect change of pace back for Stacey.

Other Options: L'damian Washington / WR Missouri, Cassius Marsh / DE UCLA.

In the sixth round Rams select Russell Bodine / OG/C North Carolina. Good late round guard for offensive line depth.

Other Options: Spencer Long / OG Nebraska, Cameron Fleming / OT Stanford.

Last in the seventh we have Shaquelle Evans / WR UCLA. Evans has a nice mix of size and quickness for the NFL.

Other Options: Alex Neutz / WR Buffalo, Mister Cobble / DT Kentucky.
