Not going to go into too much detail here, but negotiating is an art, and right now we have a ton of leverage.
-Off an injury, Sam couldn't grab much on the open market if released.
-Sam is currently slated to make $18 million this season... That's the same number as Aaron Rodgers will be making.
-We currently hold the #2 overall pick in the draft.
-We likely value him higher than any other franchise.
While Les Snead has openly said that this franchise is committed to Sam Bradford, the question needs to be asked if Sam Bradford is committed to this franchise.
Obviously, Sam wants to wait until he's worth more money.
Also obviously, we need to secure the long-term future of our team at Quarterback.
And finally, we don't have tons of room to spend on FA additions this offseason.
I'll put a poll up, so let's hear your thoughts!
