So both teams in the NFC championship, the whiners and hags, are obviously both in the Rams division. The Cardinals, who didn't make the playoffs, still ended their season with 10 wins. What hope do the Rams have of making the playoffs. Even with a turn-around next season, is there any hope of the Rams making the playoffs? We're talking about the Rams needing 11 or 12 wins in the regular season just to get into a wild card spot, unless Seattle or SF take a giant leap backwards (which lets face it, doesn't look to promising). Unfortunately the days of the blow-over NFC west are over, and could have 3 teams in the playoffs as of next year. Unfortunately, there's no possible way for 4 teams in the same division to make the post season unless the NFL expands their playoffs to 14 teams. I am still, as always, looking forward to the season ahead, but I can't help but feel that it will yet again be another season without playoffs if the 3 NFC west teams keep playing the way they are playing. What are your thoughts? Optimistic? Skeptical? Scared Shitless?
