The double Whammy !!!!

I was just sitting around watching ESPN and listening to Joe Theismann talk about the Redskins situation. You know when you hear someone talk about a team they spent most of their career playing for ,your not ever going to get the full truth or story. The NFL has a salary cap which at least 90% of Turf Show Times readers now of. Probably only 5% of readers know exactly how it works.I know the basics and that usually gets me by except when free agency comes around. Then I come here to Turf Show Times to find out what I need to know. Back to the Joe Theismann /Redskins conversation.,What dawned on me this morning was, the Redskins after getting caught circumventing the salary cap and getting being told that they were going to be penalized 36 million over two years. Then you still chose to pull the trigger on the RG3 trade. So you know your going to lose 18 million dollars for each of the next two years. And the one thing that can help you is cheap rookie contracts .Then you turn around and trade your high draft picks. That's what I call the Double Whammy! And stupid as hell! Being a Ram fan I'm glad theirs inept people in this world because were obliviously benefiting. But this reminds me so much like the Rams and Georgia Frontier era when the Rams were in Anaheim. It sure make you appreciate what Les Snead and Jeff Fisher have done in two short years. GO RAMS!
