Deja Vu

Aah, let's see. Where to start. How do you keep the St. Louis Rams out of your backyard? Put up a goalpost. Or you could also just have Sam Bradford as your QB and that idiot Shottenheimer as your OC.... It's becoming painfully obvious that this is a very bad team. I must admit that I expected the Rams to actually win this game. I figured we had the superior coaching/management staff by default because of the dysfunctional combination of Jason Garrett and Jerry Jones on the other side. I figured that the Rams learned some things from the last time Murray torched them for 253 yards two years ago. I figured the offense would continue to show improvement with this now being the 3rd game of the season and some of the new offensive wrinkles would start to show. I figured the offensive line was much improved from last year and would be able to handle the Cowboys pass rush. I could go on, but in retrospect it was obviously all an illusion. How did all of us ever get fooled into believing this moribund franchise could ever win a real football game? After this pathetic display it makes you wonder how in the world did we even beat the Cardinals the first game. 18 yards total offense in the first half??? Sacked 6 times? 35 yards rushing for the entire game? Another defensive performance that would have made the National Association for the Handicapped look All-Pro. At least they added variety to their ineptitude by this time getting gashed on the ground instead of primarily in the air. Outcoached, outplayed, outworked, etc. I guess because the expectations were so high for this team to continue to improve this year and take the next step is the reason that I am so disgusted and frustrated by what we've seen so far. I hate to constantly be so negative, but the bottom line is this team just stinks. Fisher and his inept staff really need to be held accountable for this debacle. I really believe the only way this team improves its performance and discipline issues is for heads to roll....whether it be players or coaches. Of course the good news is that at this rate, with Washington also losing, the Lambs will again have multiple high picks in the draft to fritter away on over-rated players like Sam Bradford, Tavon Austin, Brian Quick, and Isiah Peed himself. I'm predicting a complete slaughter at the hands of the 49ers on Thursday night. Read more: http://ramsforall.freeforums.net/thread/126/3rd-game#ixzz2fiafTHnX
